Innocence

I have the pleasure of being able to photograph the 2 coolest kids in my life!  Of course Julia is the most photographed of all, but my Granddaughter Brenna has brought back great memories of when my business really started to succeed with children portraiture.  At 6 months Brenna has really become aware of the camera and is starting to show a serious attitude towards it.  As I continue to market my “Pikthis for Life” series I find personal value in capturing these times that go by so quickly.   Thanks go to Rob and Aimee for bringing a truly special child into this world and for allowing me to photograph her!brenna1.jpg

Venezia

My daughter just got home from an 11 day trip to Venice with her Grandmother.  We edited a few photos for your enjoyment.  Julia is becoming quite the photographer taking 111 images in Italy.  I help with the editing!  She has an eye for window scenes which we will post about in the future.  Keep up the good work kid!

Raving Mad!

Cara and Larry tied the knot on July 12 in Wilmington. I always enjoy seeing the caller id from Cara- Baltimore Ravens. For a second I feel like a big shot. We traveled from St. Hedwigs to Arsht Hall and photographed everything in between. Cara was a beautiful Bride and had no issues chasing me around in 90 degree heat. Larry’s bachelor party was the night before. Enough said!

Kids Kickin’ Cancer

One of my charitable contributions is Kids Kickin’ Cancer, which is in memory of Michael Lewandowski.  Michael’s sister is one of my wonderful brides Laurie.  His children Alicia and Brandon set up an organization to raise funds for cancer research and to help care for individuals with the disease. I had the pleasure of photographing the 2nd Annual 5K Run/Walk at St. John the Beloved Church where there were over 500 runners to help the cause.  For more information, please visit their website KidsKickinCancer.  The next event will be a Golf Outing and Silent Auction on August 7th at Delaware National C.C..  Please join us in their cause!!

Who Says?

Who says reprints have to be 4×6, 5×7, 8×10, 11×14…? One of the beauties of digital photography is that I can crop these images anyway I see fit. My buddy George at GW Moulding makes great 5×10 frames of which I have 3 in my office. He also has an immense collection of unique molding and can make any frame I desire.

Lauren and Kevin were recently photographed at Parvin State Park in New Jersey for their eSession. I understand Governor Corzine has 9 state parks on his chopping block as a cost cutting measure. Perhaps he should fine residents more for not wearing their seat belts? We had a wonderful time cruising the park looking for photo opportunities! It would be a shame to close such a gorgeous resource. You can view their whole story here
