Pagave Salon

I first met Karen at her sister Meredith’s wedding and the rest is history!  Karen, Paul, and Joseph started Pagave Salon in 2006 and have turned their Independence Mall location in to one of the country’s finest salons.  I have had the pleasure of photographing head shots, group photos and interiors for them since they started construction.  As they grow, so do the challenges for the photography. With 20 employees the next group shot will be even more interesting.  Enjoy the two and half year trip!  Much love and keep up the great work!

There’s a Kind of Hush

We woke up to some snow finally!  It was that light, flaky kind that mounds on the branches. I wondered aimlessly out the front door with my trusty 14mm lens in hand right before sunrise and captured some beautiful images.   I had this silly song in my head from the 70′s.  The moment soon ended as the wind blow all the white coverings off the world and the sound of the trash truck broke the spell.  There is a God! I was off to more important things like my coffee.
