Family Affair

I had the pleasure of photographing the Sherman family in Old New Castle as part of their B’nai Mitzvah celebration!  Photographing families is a wonderful venture and we all really enjoyed our time together.  I try hard to make my vision stand out from the multitudes of photographers in our area while having fun.  It’s not only about the photographs. but about the experience.  I could photograph every day in Old New Castle and find completely different backgrounds and scenery! In today’s social whirlwind, when do we find the time to enjoy each others company while capturing great images?  Dorothy and Sam were a true pleasure to work with and I look forward to many more opportunities!  Congratulations and thank you!

Simple Twist

…of fate!  We are rapidly approaching the Fall season when family and children portraits are the headliner.  What better gifts to give than long- lasting artistic images of your loved ones? Holiday cards and albums are also a big hit!

In August we had the opportunity to photograph the Shegelski family at Longwood Gardens.  We had so much fun reacquainting after all these years.  I last saw Beth in the 70′s as a young girl and sister of a dear friend.  Now I get to photograph her kids and all kinds of wonderful memories spurned forth.  Alex, Kaitlyn and Will were great as we strolled the grounds at Longwood.  As usual I tried to find locations where others don’t tread and we had a blast laughing and shooting. The sun was full overhead, so lighting and shadows were a key to our visions.  We had a great lunch at the Grille and finally got out of the sun.  We will have the chance in October to photograph Kaitlyn’s Senior Portraits!  A big hug and a thank you to the Shegelski family for allowing me to photograph you and for having so much fun doing it!

Here is a wonderful slide show of the complete shoot:  SHEGELSKI PORTRAITS Enjoy!
